Distribution edit
New Zealand (North Island, South Island). Northernmost record: Waipoua Forest, Northland; and Poor Knights Islands (Watt, 1982: 292). Southernmost record: Nelson.
There are two very closely related undescribed species from Three Kings Islands and Te Paki, Northland.
