Difficulties with circumscriptions

The segregation of the Australian species as Parakeelya by Hershkovitz (1998) is not accepted by Australian botanists (APC, 2024), however the later view is challenged by Hancock et al. (2018). The above is a view of Calandrinia s.s. and taxon pages for Parakeelya and Rumicastrum are also provided. In addition, Cistanthe was still occasionally found as a synonym (Tropicos, 2017). This issue is still largely unresolved in Australia, but internationally Calandrinia s.s. is most widely accepted and used. Andyboorman (talk) 20:22, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
