editThe Araneomorphae are spiders with opposing chelicerae. All families, other than Hypochilidae, have two book lungs. This suborder contains 94 families which are broadly divided into haplogynes and entelegynes, those having mature females with internal copulatory openings and those having mature females with external copulatory openings, respectively.
