Unnecessary restoration of the later synonym. Since Opuntia ayrampo was neotypified in 2002 by Doweld by the specimen element of Opuntia soehrensii, the latter species epithet became absolute synonym of 1809 name by neotypification, otherwise, it should be conserved in order to be continued to be used in nomenclature.
