- Type locality: South-western coast of Cheju Island, Moseulpo, Korea.
- Holotype: J.H. Kim & H. Chung; 18 May 1998; 10-15 m deep, on Marginosporum crassissimum (Yendo) Ganesan. SNU 98-CMP407. Isotype: Same locality, 10-15 m deep, on M. crassissimum, SNU 98-CMP408. all specimens Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI).
