• Typus: R. Kanehira 1859 (August 1932, in fruit and flower; syntypus: NY00222413^(JSTOR)) and R. Kanehira 1875 (August 1932, sterile; syntypus: NY00222414^(JSTOR)).
• Type locality: Palau. Tôdaiyama[Lighthouse Hill in Angaur?], near Korror[Koror].
