Name
editSolanum maestrense Urb. (1925:21)
- This species is known only from the type, and may belong to a different genus (Knapp, Solan. Source, 2013).
- Neotype: E. Ekman 14456 (S04-2941, S; original in B destroyed)
- Isoneotype: S (S04-2942)
- Designated by Knapp (2009:74) as "lectotype". Although the specimen is technically an isotype, Knapp makes it clear Urban cannot have examined the S specimens, and as such they cannot be original material, making this a neotype and not a lectotype.
- Type location: Cuba, Prov. Oriente, Sierra Maestra, on the water divide between Rio Yara and Río Palmamocha, at the foot of Loma Joaquim, on the slope towards Rio Palmamocha, 19 Jul 1922
