Life habit: Lichenicolous fungus (parasite on living lichens)

Typification Details: Holotype GZU, Mayrhofer 5883

Host-Substratum/Locality: On Pertusaria melanospora growing on coastal rock: New Zealand North.

Etymology: Named to honor Professor Helmut Mayrhofer.
