• Type: A. Weberbauer 3304 (July 1903, in flower and fruit; Holotype: B [destroyed]; Lectotype: USM [designated by Acevedo-Rodríguez 1993: 84]; Isolectotypes: F [fragment of B], G [​G00008058 (72114/1)]).
• Type locality: Peruvia [= Peru]. Depart. Huanuco: prov. Huamalies, inter Punchau et Chuquibamba in valle fluminis Marañon, inter herbas et frutices, altit. 3200 m.
