- Suaeda "salsa" sensu auct. (e.g. sensu Halácsy 1896, Fritsch 1922)
Note: The name Suaeda maritima has been misinterpreted for Suaeda pannonica, and the name Suaeda pannonica has been misapplied for Suaeda prostrata, by Austrian and Hungarian botanists for decades, since the 1930s up to 1996 (see Fischer & Kästner, 2011). The correct names are used since:
- Rote Liste für Österreich, 2. ed. (Niklfeld & Schratt - Ehrendorfer 1999)
- Schmeil/Fitschen-Flora, 93 ed. (Seybold 2006)
- Österreichische Exkursionsflora, 2.ed. (Fischer & al. 2005)
- Ungarische Exkursionsflora (Király 2009)
