Schizophragma Siebold & Zucc., Fl. Jap. 1: 58. t. 26. 1838.

• Type species: Schizophragma hydrangeoides Siebold & Zucc.

Note: Now accepted as a synonym of Hydrangea s.l., but it appears that the taxonomy is incomplete (see refs) and so Hydrangea spps comb. ined. are left here.
