Type: Mexico, Baja California: Guadalupe Island, narrow E-W canyon into the southern peak on the east side with rocky outcrops.
Life habit: Non-lichenized, lichenicolous.
Host: On the upper surface of the thallus of a terricolous Physconia species.
Note: First known non-lichenized, lichenicolous species of Schismatomma.
