Type: Greece, Santorin Island, between Thira and Pyrgos, 1911, R. Wettstein (W-lectotype).

Exs.: Follmann: Lich. sel. exs. 219 (M, hb. Kalb, as Rinodina confragosa). Sampaio: Lich. de Portugal 194 ( as Rinodina confragosa var. olivieri, LISU--isotype!)
