• Type locality: Bikini Atoll.
• Lectotype: W.R. Taylor 46-263; 1 May 1946; on walls of deep pools from 0-1.5 m depth on the reef northwest of the island; MICH, WRT 46-263 (Millar & Kraft, 2001: 25).
