Name

Rhexinema edaphicum Darienko, Pröschold & Lukešová, 2017: 30, fig. 19 A-G (as 'edaphica')

• Type locality: Brazil, central part of São Paulo State, Sao Carlos, Itirapina and Pirissanunga County, elevation of about 800 m a.s.l., field of sugar cane, dense canopy, without any ground layer..
• Holotype: strain ULVO-10 is permanently cryopreserved in a metabolically inactive state (cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen) in the SAG, University of Göttingen, Germany.
