- Type: T. Haevermans, A. Haevermans & J. Razanatsoa 830 (28 October 2018; Holotype: TAN; Isotypes: K, MO [see Tropicos record(GBIF)], P).
- Type locality: Madagascar. Antsiranana: Ambanja District, along R.N.6 road to Ankaramibe, 13°45′54.8″S, 48°21′27.7″E, 30 m elev., on degraded lateritic slopes.
