Synonyms
edit- Heterotypic
- Machaerium pseudotipe Griseb., Abh. Königl. Ges. Wiss. Göttingen 24: 110 (1879), as "M. pseudotipa"; synonymized with Pterogyne nitens by Espinar (2013: 604)
- Types:
- [P.G. Lorentz & G.H.E. Hieronymus 652 (30 August 1873; GOET [GOET009555 / 760529 / 403930(BioCASe, GBIF, JSTOR)]; Isotypes: CORD [CORD00005833(GBIF, JSTOR)], G [G00370553 (39281/1)(GBIF, JSTOR)]).]
- B. Balansa 2540 ([April 1874]; GOET [GOET009554 / 760528 / 403929(BioCASe, GBIF, JSTOR)]).
- Type locality: "Paraguay. L'Asomption" fide Espinar (2013: 604).
- Note: Hunziker (1960) treats both Lorentz & Hieronymus 652 and Balansa 2540 as cotypes [= syntypes], but Espinar (2013) recognizes only the former one as type, regarding the latter as a paratype while the protologue is "Tarija, ad fl. Bermeja pr. Luna muerte [= near Bermejo River near Luna Muerte]" and cites only Balansa 2540.
- Types:
- Pterogyne nitens f. parvifolia Chodat & Hassl., Bull. Herb. Boissier, sér. 2, 4: 563 (1904); not accepted by Peña-Chocarro & al. (2010: 120) [cited as Pterogyne nitens]
- Typus: E. Hassler 1478 (November).
- Type locality: Paraguay. Ad ripam fluminis Juqueri.
- Machaerium pseudotipe Griseb., Abh. Königl. Ges. Wiss. Göttingen 24: 110 (1879), as "M. pseudotipa"; synonymized with Pterogyne nitens by Espinar (2013: 604)
