Macropodanthus clausus (J.J.Sm.) Aver., Taiwania 64(3): 292 (2019).

Type locality: Sumatra. Padangsche Bovenlanden, Boekit Paloempang near Sidjoengdjoeng.
Holotype: A. V. Theunissen, cult, in Hort. E. Jacobson sub n. 1632, BO (?).
