• Jørgensen et al. (2013) cited J.M. Cardiel & E. Watkins 56 (collected in Pando, alt. 280 m, 25 July 1989; deposited in MO-1734562 (3868485)^(GBIF)) as a Bolivian occurrence, but it was re-determined with Psychotria trivialis Rusby in 2003.
• Renner et al. (1990) cited are represented by J.S. Brandbyge & E. Asanza C. 31252 (collected in Pastaza, alt. 200 m, 29 May 1980; deposited in AAU [J.Brandbyge31252^{(GBIF, Tropicos)}]; also in MO-1734220 (3793076)^(GBIF)) and J.L. Jaramillo et al. 31726 (collected at Lorocachi, Pastaza, alt. 200 m, 1 June 1980; deposited in QCA; also in AAU [J.Jaramillo31726^{(GBIF, Tropicos)}], MO-1734221 (3815189)^(GBIF)) as Ecuadoran occurrences, but C.M. Taylor re-determined both of them with Psychotria tenuicaulis K.Krause in 2003.
