  • Type: W. Holtz 301/02 (26 November 1901; neotype: EA(-EA000001803, -EA000001804)); destroyed syntypes: A. Engler 2137, 2161, 2186 (in flower, 6 November 1902).
  • Type locality: Sansibarküstengebiet[Tanzania].
    • Neotype: Dar es-Salam, Sachsenwald[Mogo Forest].
    • Syntypes: Sachsenwald bei Dâr-es-Salâm, im parkartigen Buschgehölz auf Lichtungen.
