• Typus: P. Pogge 1413 (in flower, [November 1881], Holotypus: B [cf. 10 01 60606^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, 'type'])
• Type locality: [Democratic Republic of the Congo.] Auch bei Mukenge im Lande Baschilange [= also near Mukenge in the land of Bena Luluwa].
