• Type locality: 500m north of Point Nepean, Port Philip Bay (38°18.5’ S. Lat.; 144°41.4’ E. Long.).
• Holotype: Saunders & Kraft; 5.iv.1995; 18-19 m deep. MELU GEN-10586.
