Prasiola crispa (Lightfoot) Kützing, 1843: 295

  • Type locality: Isle of Skye, Argyll, Scotland.
  • Lectotype: BM; 000005094 (Bryant, Irvine & Ruffle 2012: 32). Annotation on the lectotype: "No. 22. In moist shady places on the North side of Walls where no Grass grows, generally. This is a thin membranaceous substance, & I think it mostly is where people Pisses ag[ain]st Walls."
