• Type locality: Kabella Island, Rongelap Atoll, Marshall Islands. Holotype: W.R. Taylor; 28.vii.1946; MICH Taylor no. 46-627. Isotypes: PC, Taylor 46-627, General Herbarium box collection (non-fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym); BM, algal box collection 1015; L 948.175-58.
