      • Lectotype locality: Tanger, Morocco. Lectotype: Schousboe; March 1823; PC 0658394 (Diaz-Tapia et al. 2014: 202, fig. 1). Syntypes: Biarritz (southwest France) and Tanger (Morocco). Epitype: specimen PC0542978 (male gametophyte), collected in Tanger in January 1824.
