  • Type locality: Sweden, France, or Germany.
  • Lectotype (J.R. Laundon, Taxon 34: 672. 1985): BM; Acharius 890. [unlocalised], on conifer bark with the fungus Hysterium (BM-Ach 890 left-hand specimen
  • Isotype probably: H.Ach. 2006, Persoon 97 from 'Gallia' [France].
