Piperales

Taxonavigation
editClassification System: APG IV
Superregnum: Eukaryota
Regnum: Plantae
Cladus: Angiosperms
Cladus: Magnoliids
Ordo: Piperales
Familiae:
Aristolochiaceae –
Piperaceae –
Saururaceae
Name
editPiperales Bercht. & J.Presl, Prir. Rostlin 261 (1820).
Note: Helmstetter et al. (2025) prefer to segregate Hydnoraand Prosopanche in their own family, Hydnoraceae C. Agardh. and also to segregate Lactoris into Lactoridaceae Engler. This is a valid taxonomic opinion, as is leaving them in Aristolochiaceae. It is recommended that WS follow APG (2016) pending further evidence
