• Holotype locality: Perú: Barranco, Lima, central Peru (12°09'00"S, 77°01'29"W).
• Holotype (tetrasporophyte): M.S. Calderon; 24 October 2013; cast ashore. CNUK CNU049946. Isotypes: CNU072807-8 (tetrasporophyte) in CNUK, Korea, and CNU072809 in UC, USA.
