Phycodrys franiae Showe M. Lin & W.A.Nelson, 2010

• Type locality: Marfells Beach, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand (41º43.6'S; 174º13.1'E). Holotype (Fig. 21): W. Nelson; 7 December 2005; WELT A023691a. Isotypes: WELT A023691b (tetrasporic); WELT A023691c (female).

• Named for Fran Hommersand, American collector and botanist (wife of Max Hoyt Hommersand).
