Diagnosis: Thallus foliosus, sorediatus; subtus albus velpallido-brunnesces; conidia ellipsoidea, 2.5-4 x 1 µm.

Type: MEXICO. ((aut|Baja California Sur:}} Sierra de la Laguna, 23o20'N, 110o00'W, c. 10 m., on Pachycereus, Nash 33,766 (ASU-holotype, hb. Essl., isotpe).
