Typus: R.M. Graham 1856 (Holotypus: K; ⧼Isotypi⧽: BR [BR0000008851550^(JSTOR)], EA {EA000001693, EA000001694, EA000001695}, G G00014627^(JSTOR) [collected in May 1929]).
Type locality: Kenya. [Coast Province:] Arabuko, in undergrowth of Brachylaena forest.
