Type locality: [Tanzania. Kilosa District:] Zwischen Khutu und Uhehe[i.e. land of Hehe people], bei Kidodi am Ruhembe[Luhembe], in der lichten Baumsteppe auf Niederungen mit schwarzem Boden, bei 500 m ü. M.
