• Typus: J.-G. Adam 20735 (in flower, January; Holotypus: P; ⧼Isotypi⧽: K, UPS {V-694718, V-694719} [both collected on 24 January 1965]).
• Type locality: Libéria. Mont Nimba, Yiti valley à 700 m d’altitude.
