• Note: not accepted by Kok & Grobbelaar (1984) [cited as Pavetta zeyheri Sond.], but accepted by Bridson (2003), Herman (2005) and Figueiredo (2008).
• Typus: Newton 226 (in flower, November 1882; Holotypus: B [destroyed]).
  • Note: Bremekamp (1934) cited Seiner 111 (collected in 'South West Africa'; deposited at B) as type, instead of citing Newton 226.
• Type locality: 'Angola'. Ohne bestimmten Standort [= Without definite locality].
