• Typus: A.G. Bagshawe 511 (in flower, [11] December [1903]; Holotypus: BM [cf. BM000903428^(JSTOR), 'Type']; Isotypus: K [​K000411983^(JSTOR), 'Unknown type material']).
• Type locality: Uganda. River Rufúa, on ant-hill in swamp.
