Typus: G. Troupin 11282 (1959; Holotypus: BR [liquid preserved: BR6102009390787]; Isotypus: EA [EA000001658, collected on 9 November 1959; not seen by Bridson]).
Type locality: Rwanda. Route Bukavu-Astrida: near Nyungwe.
