Type locality: Brazil. Bahia: Mun. Érico Cardoso, near the bridge over the river Paramirim, ca. 4km west of the town along the road to Mun. Paramirim.
Holotypus: 2004-01-17, leg. M. Machado 180, cult. E. Leme 6173, HB; isotype: CEPEC.
