Type: D.W. Thomas 315 (bts. fl., flower, fruit, March 1978; Holotype: K [K000232298^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, Sheet II]; 'Types': K {K000232297^{(GBIF, JSTOR)} [Sheet I], K000232299^{(GBIF, JSTOR)} [Sheet III]}).
- Note: the author designates Thomas 315 as holotype at page 134 while he does D. Thomas 237 (K) at page 136.
Type locality: Cameroun [= Cameroon]. Prov. Nord Ouest: lac Tissongo.
