Neonauclea montana Ridsdale, Blumea 34(1): 226 (1989)

• Typus: S 30432 [P.P.K. Chai] ([8 September 1970]; holotypus: L 0000936, lost by boatwreck in the Azores during loan, see Ridsdale 2008: 288).
• Type locality: [Malaysia.] Borneo, Sarawak: G. Api, 'mossy' forest on limestone.
