Typus: S.H. Koorders 18630 (Holotypus: BO {BO-1319033 & BO-1319032} [collected on 16 January 1895]; Isotypus: L 0000923 [collected on 16 January 1893, lost by boatwreck in the Azores during loan, vide Ridsdale 2008]).
Type locality: [Indonesia.] Celebes[Sulawesi]: Minahassa, [Manado].
