  • Among the specimens cited by Ridsdale (1970), those from Morotai, viz. Kostermans 866 and Kostermans 1350 are of Neonauclea morotaiensis Ridsdale, the latter being its type.
  • Example of occurrences in Maluku: bb 24523 (Ned. Ind. Forest Service) (collected on Aru Is., 20 June 1938; deposited in L.2937860).
  • Example of occurrence in Papua New Guinea: L.J. Brass 6955 (collected near Palmer River, 2 miles below junction Black River, along banks of river, June 1936; deposited in BRI [vide Plants of Papua New Guinea], L.2937857).
