    - Syntypus: M.R. Henderson 20102 ([29 March 1928]; BO-1316891 [as 'paratype'], K [K000729933^(JSTOR)]).
    - Note: K herbarium also holds an 'unknown type material' K000729935^(JSTOR), which may be leaf fragments from either Steenis 685 or Henderson 20102.
  - Type locality: [Indonesia.] Anambas Islands, Siantan Island, Western Terempa.
