Mesophyllum schenckii M.Howe, 1934

  • Type locality: Indian Creek (Santa Ynez quadrangle), about 6.44 km, (4 miles) south of Big Pine Mountain, Santa Barbara County, California, USA (Stanford University locality 930).
  • Holotype: M.F. Keenan; September 1930; Leland Stanford Junior University paleontological type collection no. 5635, includes slide 1164. Isotype: PC, General Herbarium box collection (fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym). Howe lists additional isotypes (1934: 511, footnote 20).
