Mazzaella dewreedei G.W.Saunders & K.R.Millar, 2014

• Type locality: "Lands End, south side of Pachena Bay where it opens to the ocean, Bamfield (48.7715°, 125.1578°), British Columbia, Canada; low intertidal on rock.". Holotype: G.W. Saunders, B. Clarkston & D. McDevit, 12 June, 2006 (UNB GWS003323; tetrasporangial) (Fig. 2a). HOLOTYPE COI-5P BARCODE: KF839871.
