Marinichlorella kaistiae Z.Aslam, W.Shin, M.K.Kim, W.-T.Im & S.-T.Lee, 2007

• Type locality: South Sea (35º05'13" N, 128º48'14" E) of Korea.
• Holotype: Seawater, planktonic; depth of 1.0m. KAS007 (type strain).
• Three KAS strains were deposited at the Korean Collection for Type Cultures (KCTC), Korea, and Institute of Applied Microbiology (IAM) culture collection, Japan. KAS007 (=KCTC AG10303=IAM C-620).
