Type locality: Brazil, Goiás: Município de Cavalcante, Região da Chapada dos Veadeiros, cerca de 500 m antes do córrego Quebra Coco, na estrada para a Comunidade dos Kalungas, 1066 m. 13° 36' 28" S, 47° 28' 24" W.
Typus: leg. M.J.Silva, R.C.Sodré, F.K.L.Silva, A.O.Souza & L.L.C.Antunes 4768; 2013-03-07; Holotype: UFG.
