• Typus: L. Pierre 1649 ([March 1877], with flowers [and young fruit]; Holotypus: P [​P02440621^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]; Isotypus: P [​P02440622^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}]).
• Type locality: [Vietnam.] Biên Hòa: la rive gauche du Song cai, vers le village de Pho Qua [= the left bank of Đồng Nai River, at the village 'Pho Qua'].
