Holotype: BMNH, adult ♂, skin and skull.

Type locality: “Buntibasa Distr., Krätke-Gebirge [= Kratke Mountains], [Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guina,] 4000/5000 Fuß [= feet (1220-1524 m)].”
