- Type locality: planktic from a surface layer (0–0.5 m) of inshore sites in water column of Lake Pamvotis (39°40′51″ N, 20°50′30″ Ε) [Greece].
- Holotype: leg. 1 November 2010; TAU-A01029. (dried biomass and fresh sample maintained in formaldehyde, collected by U.L. on 19 January 2022).
