Type: Mexico. Baja California: Punta Banda, Los Arbolitos, on rocks, 6 Nov 1977, L. Tibell 7792b (holotype in UPS 151403).
Host: On thallus of Lecanora farinacea
World and Sonoran distribution: Baja California.
